red ribbon week, halloween, and more

So I was sitting here...
see pic below...
all comfy and snuggy in my new tights and slippers...
and I was all relaxed while Bub watched TOONS
and then I thought...
AGHHHHH
I haven't blogged about
Red Ribbon Week
or
HALLOWEEN
or
THIS WEEK
and so here I go....

The week of Halloween was SOOOOOO much FUN!!!
It was Red Ribbon Week for my school and
like a doof
I forgot to take a pic of MONDAY...
TEAM UP against drugs...
just picture me in a SAINTS jersey and that was about it...
ok and now for the rest of the week...

 Before school
I put little mustache bags full of goodies on each kiddo's desk!!!
They had candy and ONE GIANT mustache...
we took a class photo... but I can't post on here...
just picture a super cute group of kiddos dressed in SUPER Hero gear
wearing GIANT mustaches...
so so so adorbs!!!
if I could I would make them Christmas Cards...
I think I will...

Kids would ask me and an occasional adult...
WHAT ARE YOU
and I would say
FAB BOO LOUS...
ha ha ha

 Halloween was FUN FUN FUN...
Do ya like my FAKE eye???
Creepy??? YES
but I LOVE IT!!!

I have some kiddos that can't celebrate Halloween so.....
instead of a Halloween Party we did
experiments...
ONE was this....

all the kiddos were asked to bring in a box or bag of something...
we had a list of things they could choose from
WE really DUMPED all of their stuff into a LARGE trash bag
and I shook it to mix it...
we talked about the difference between a mixture and a solution
and...

I made them make predictions of what snack item they would have the most of in their
cup scoop...
and then I SCOOPED away...
each kiddo got a large piece of construction paper to sort...
it was torture for them...
if the snack was broken they had to put it somewhere else...
BUT not in their mouth...
I learned that last year...
they would break everything to get to eat it...
so NO eating broken pieces!!!!
after sorting they had to count....
 and then we....
after graphing them they could eat them...
I have never had them work so fast!!!!

when my class was at PE
Hubs came in to help me make these for them....
thanks HUBS... I think I 'll keep him around...*WINK*
 they loved them...
pudding cup, crushed oreo on top, a ghost peep, and a candy corn pumpkin
and then the day was over and time for HALLOWEEN NIGHT
 all of us on Halloween...
2 Ghostbusters and a Fa BOO LOUS mama!!

hubs made Bub's outfit and found some of the accessories on ebay...
they are considered vintage... which means I am VINTAGE...
ahhhhh
oh well Bub was happy and my big nerd hubby was I think happier!!!
(remember I LOVE nerds so calling hubs a nerd is not being mean... I LOVE MY NERD)
ok and now for the last day of RED RIBBON WEEK...
 last weekend...

seriously there is this artist at Market Days... and he does some amazing things with TIRES...
I got TWIST (that is his name) for Bub's room...
and then I talked to the guy and and
and guess WHAT he is making me a MOOSE!!!
A MOOSE!!! remember I wanted a moose for my classroom...
well of course I am super SUPER SUPER attached to BUCK and he will not be replaced BUT I am thinking my house needs a moose... YEP

so I have been growing my hair out and
I decide to curl it and if I do say so myself...
it was a good hair day...
or more like a hair minute...
when I walked outside... it was like the FOGGIEST FOG eva
my hair lasted the short drive to work...
it made a grand entrance and then by announcements ...
it was over...
OH well I am so glad I am addicted to selfies... so I got proof of my fab... hair.... minute
LOL

I have been loving using Nicole Shelby's
4th grade Language Interactive Notebook

One of my besties had a BABY!!!
I got to see baby Olivia last week and she was
PRECIOUS!!!
it kinda gave me a bug...
a BABY BUG... we will see... I am vintage!!!

I got my November's Interactive Door up and going...
the kids were a little upset about writing a
SENTENCE
OH NO A COMPLETE SENTENCE...
AHHHH
imagine the horror...
so it is slow to get completed BUT
we are on our way!!!
that is an UNfiltered pic
it was absolutely gorgeous and breath taking
and I wish my 5 minute commute was longer so I could look at this GLORIOUS
sunrise for a few more minutes
this pic was taken from my school's parking lot...
so all the kids, faculty, friends, and families... were greeted by THIS!!!

AMAZING!!!
